PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a string for gut that facilitates production control, and eliminates any special problem concerning a working environment aspect and a hygiene aspect in the manufacturing process.;SOLUTION: A string for gut is provided. A core material 11 and a lateral string 12 are provided, and at least multi-filaments 12 of the lateral string contain composite-type heat-fusible fibers. The composite-type heat-fusible fibers are the fibers obtained by combining a low melting point thermoplastic polymer and a high melting point thermoplastic polymer with a melting point higher than that of this low melting point thermoplastic polymer. The core material 11 and the lateral string 12 or the lateral strings 12 are fixed together by the heat fusion of the low melting point thermoplastic polymer. Alternatively, the core material 11 constituted of multi-filaments of composite-type heat-fusible fibers is provided, and the lateral string is not provided and the whole multi-filaments are fixed by the heat fusion of the low melting point thermoplastic polymer in the composite-type heat-fusible fibers.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
