PURPOSE: To provide a filament wrapped by a thermoplastic material used for a gut, etc., of a tennis racket by making the filament pass the inside of a room filled with the thermoplastic material heated under pressure while passing through a plural number of change-direction bodies. ;CONSTITUTION: A pseudo-mono-filament 30 covered with a covering of a thermoplastic material with abrasion resistance by making a filament 32 pass insides of rooms 14, 26 filled with the thermoplastic material made viscous by heating under pressure through a plural number of change-direction bodies 15-19, making the filament 32 pass a binder 33 and nozzles 25', 27 after it leaves the rooms 14, 26 and receiving torsion. Thereafter, when the pseudo-mono-filament 30 leaves the second nozzle 27, it is taken up on a bobbin 39. Thereafter, the bobbin 39 is arranged on a rotational reel to be rotated around a shaft in the longitudinal direction or around a shaft in the lateral direction, and the spurious mono-filament 30 wound up on the bobbin 39 is rewound from the bobbin 39 while transmitting rotation by the orthogonal two shafts.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
