PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic machine diagnostic system capable of appropriately detecting damage to a high pressure valve.SOLUTION: A hydraulic machine diagnostic system is to diagnose a hydraulic machine which comprises a rotary shaft, a cylinder, a piston which forms a working chamber together with the cylinder, and high pressure and low pressure valves installed in the working chamber and is configured to perform conversion between rotary motion of the rotary shaft and reciprocal motion of the piston. The hydraulic machine diagnostic system has: a pressure sensor to detect pressure in the working chamber; and a damage detection section which detects damage to the high pressure valve on the basis of a detection result of the pressure sensor. The high pressure valve is a poppet valve including a seat and a valve body which is a poppet configured to be brought into contact with the seat from a side of a high pressure line of the hydraulic machine. The damage detection section detects the damage to the valve body of the high pressure valve on the basis of a maximum value of pressure in the working chamber in every cycle of the reciprocal motion of the piston.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
