PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance person position information confirmation system capable of realizing an efficient maintenance operation, while taking into consideration a privacy of the maintenance person.SOLUTION: When a position information browsing control device 7 provided in a monitoring center 5 receives a message of abnormality occurrence from a communication device 3 via a public telephone line network 4 while monitoring a monitoring object facility 1 by a remote monitoring device 2, the system recognizes this occurrence as a requirement of emergency response and performs browsing permission setting of the position information of the maintenance person who becomes a candidate of a person on duty for a terminal device (PC 12 )used by an administrator 13 of a business office 11 which manages the monitoring object facility 1. When the requirement of the emergency response is completed, the browsing permission setting is released so as to limit the unnecessary browsing of the position information of the maintenance person. The administrator 13, upon confirmation of the message by a PC12 or a portable terminal 14, operates the PC 12 to access to a position information display device 10 via a position information browsing limit device 7 so as to confirm a person on duty candidate of the maintenance person suitable for attendance at office, and the instruction for the attendance at office upon selecting the person on duty is issued.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
