PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve communication efficiency, even if a frequency difference detected on the receiving side of a serial link is not fed back to the transmission side.;SOLUTION: In a serial communication system including a first serial communication device outputting a data packet and a second serial communication device receiving the data packet via a transmission line, the first serial communication device transmits a data packet containing a frequency difference adjustment symbol according to a predetermined first clock, the second serial communication device receives the data packet via a transmission line conforming to a predetermined communication standard, detects the state when the data packet is written in a buffer or read out therefrom according to a predetermined second clock, and adds or deletes the frequency difference adjustment symbol so that the frequency difference of the first and second clocks is absorbed, on the basis of the detection results.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
