PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device capable of reducing noise caused by boosting when a self-oscillation frequency is low.;SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device comprises: a modulation section generating a modulation signal; a gate driver generating an amplification control signal; a transistor generating an amplification modulation signal; a low-pass filter generating a driving signal; a feedback circuit feeding back the driving signal to the modulation section; a booster circuit supplying a boosted voltage to the gate driver based on any one of a first clock signal and a second clock signal; a boost control section; a piezoelectric element; a cavity; and a nozzle. A change point of rising or falling of the second clock signal is synchronized with a third clock signal generated by self-oscillation. The boost control section generates the second clock signal based on the third clock signal and the first clock signal. A frequency twice as high as a frequency of the first clock signal is higher than a minimum value of a frequency of the third clock signal, and is lower than a maximum value thereof.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
