PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line-of-sight measurement apparatus capable of calculating six variances of watching points with a watcher's position and posture relative to a watching plane taken into account, and three-dimensionally measuring a Gaussian distribution of the watching regions and watching points on the watching plane based on the calculation results.SOLUTION: A line-of-sight measurement apparatus comprises: means which is attached to the head of a watcher to capture an image of one or more AR markers placed on one watching plane 6; means for measuring the position and posture of the watcher relative to the watching plane 6, on the basis of the data captured by the means for capturing the image of the markers; means for calculating the coordinate system of the watching plane 6 viewed from the watcher; and means for determining six variances of the watcher on the watching plane 6 on the basis of the coordinate system and for three-dimensionally measuring a Gaussian distribution of the watching regions and watching points on the watching plane 6 based on the calculation results.
