PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that enables accurate quantification of moisture regain of a solid with water adhered thereto even when the solid is alkaline.SOLUTION: Provided is a method of measuring moisture regain of an alkaline solid with water adhered thereto, comprising an extraction step of bringing the solid into contact with a solvent that does not react with the solid and is capable of dissolving water to separate and extract adhered water from the solid into the solvent; and a quantification step of quantifying moisture regain of the solid with the adhered water from an amount of water extracted into the solvent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
