PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire capable of obtaining a sufficient grip force by a small amount of electric power, and a method and a device for controlling the tire grip force.SOLUTION: A tire grip force control device 1 includes: a tire 2 that comprises a tread 26 at least partially composed of an electrically-responsive elastic body having a viscoelastic modulus changed by application of a voltage, and a conductor (spiral belt 25) arranged on the tire radial-direction inside of the tread 26; and voltage application means 3 for applying the voltage to the conductor.
