PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of a user who utilizes a ringback tone registration device for the purpose of monitoring, by easily registering a ringback tone of an existing intercom in accordance with features of sounds of the ringback tone when initially registering the ringback tone.SOLUTION: When registering a chime sound, in a notification device 10, a sound registration part 22 detects features of a chime sound collected by a microphone 18, a volume, an S/N, a length of a sound interval and the like. In a registration condition table 22z of the sound registration part 22, registration conditions such as the volume, the S/N, the length of the sound interval and the like are stored. The sound registration part 22 judges whether the features of the chime sound collected by the microphone 18 satisfy the registration conditions. If it is judged that the chime sound does not satisfy the registration conditions, a registration condition control part 24 changes threshold values of the volume, the S/N, the length of the sound interval and the like that are included in the registration conditions, to decrease in such a manner that the chime sound is easily registered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
