The present disclosure provides a grouping method, a grouping device, a program, and a recording medium for smart devices in a smart home system, and realizes automatic grouping of smart devices according to user usage habits. The method includes a step of identifying a target predetermined group corresponding to the smart device based on the recorded history operation information for the smart device, and a step of performing a grouping operation on the smart device according to the target predetermined group.
