PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral composition for improving muscle atrophy and muscle atrophy improving agent which can improve muscle atrophy, such as muscular weakness by resting for a long time or decreased muscular power under low movement situations for a long time.SOLUTION: The invention provides an oral composition for improving muscle atrophy and a muscle atrophy improving agent containing plasma protein at a ratio of 0.3 mg/kg body weight or more in a daily dosage unit. For the composition and the improving agent, a dosage form selected from a powder, granular, tablet, pill, capsule, jelly, and liquid form is preferable. It is known that muscles, motile organs show symptoms, such as decreased muscular power, muscular atrophy and the like by resting for a long time. Ingesting the oral composition has an effect capable of quickly recovering atrophied muscles.
