PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupon circulation mediation system which circulates electronic coupons in virtuality using an electronic information communication network and electronic data when a product purchaser pays a product provider for a product or service by a product or service as barter instead of paying cash to the product provider for the product or the service.SOLUTION: A system which promotes coupon circulation comprises: means for registering a product provider A, a coupon issuer B and a coupon purchaser (desirer) C in a database; means for registering information about coupons which are acquired by the product provider A for providing a product for the coupon issuer B, in the database; means for registering information about coupons which are sold to the coupon purchase desirer C by the product provider A for encashing the acquired coupons, in the database; means for registering use conditions of coupons in the database; and means for registering deletion information which is to be used when the sold coupons are to be used, in the database.
