Visualization of construction status for mining work site A computer-implemented method is described for explaining the construction status with respect to the section of interest of the mining work site. The method includes determining a data set (12) that includes recorded data representing an elevation map (610) of the ground surface of the mining site for at least the section of interest. This elevation map is based on measurement data relating to the ground surface. The data set also includes reference data representing at least a reference elevation topography (612) for the section of interest. The method generates model data (14) based on the determined data set, and in an image depicting a three-dimensional view of the model, between the elevation map (610) and the reference elevation topography (612).
