PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothes finishing method and an apparatus of the same which can achieve improvement in production efficiency.SOLUTION: A clothes finishing apparatus includes: an air suction device 13 which performs air-suction of clothes and allows them to be held at an ironing board 11; and a hot plate 12 for performing press-finishing of the clothes. It also includes: a temperature measurement sensor 21 for measuring temperature of the clothes; and a control unit 20 for outputting a signal 23a for turning on the air suction device 13 by detecting an initial temperature change point A of the temperature measured by the temperature measurement sensor 21, and for outputting a signal 24a for releasing pressing by the hot plate 12 by detecting the next temperature change point B, and for turning off the air suction device 13 with the temperature change point B being reference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
