PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature correction device of a long-length steel material which can accurately correct a temperature of the long-length steel material such as a rail in a longitudinal direction.;SOLUTION: A temperature correction device of a long-length steel material comprises: out-machine thermometers 5a, 5b which are arranged outside a cooler 3 of a cooling device 1, and continuously measure temperatures of a surface of a rail steel material 2 along a longitudinal direction; transport devices...20_j-1, 20_j, 20_j+1...which send the rail steel material 2 into the cooler 3; a plurality of pieces of in-machine thermometers 6a1 to 6a4, 6b1 to 6b4 which are arranged in the cooler 3, and simultaneously measure the temperatures of the surface of the rail steel material 2 along the longitudinal direction before cooling; and a calculation control device 50 which creates a temperature distribution of the rail steel material 2 by using the temperatures which are measured by the out-machine thermometers 5a, 5b, and corrects the temperature distribution by using the temperatures which are measured by the in-machine thermometers 6a1 to 6a4, 6b1 to 6b4.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
