PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate unitization of a membrane module, and improve strength of a filtrated water-introducing member, and durability, chemical resistance and high temperature resistance of a connected part between a filtration member and the filtrated water-introducing member.SOLUTION: A membrane unit composite body 7 is constituted by laminating membrane units 6a, 6b each having a plurality of membrane modules 1 in parallel. The membrane module 1 includes a filtrated water-introducing member 3 which introduces solid liquid-separated water from a filtration member 2. The member 3 is composed of a pipe body having a rectangular cross section, provided with a first opening 31 protruding on one side wall part 3a in side wall parts 3a, 3b facing each other and not connecting the filtration members 2 from the surface of the wall part 3a, and formed with a second opening 32 fittable to the first opening 31 of the filtrated water-introducing member 3 of the other membrane module 1 on the other side wall part 3b. A group of filtrated water-introducing members 3 of both ends of the membrane units 6a, 6b including connection parts between the filtrated water-introducing members 2 and filtration members is covered by a formed part 41 of a covering material 4.
