PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel polymer metal aggregate, a gas adsorbent having excellent property using the same, and a gas storage apparatus and a gas separation apparatus each housing the gas adsorbent having the excellent property.SOLUTION: There is provided the novel polymer metal aggregate which is represented by formula (1) [MXYq](in the formula, M is a divalent transition metal ion, X is an isophthalic acid anion having perfluoroalkyl substituted at 5-position, Y is an auxiliary ligand, q is 1 to 3, n is one showing such a property that many constituent units consisting of [MXYq] aggregate and a value of n is not limited specifically), and in which one-dimensional chain structure aggregates and the substituent perfluoroalkyl has an aggregation part. There are also provided a use of the novel polymer metal aggregate as a gas adsorbent, a gas separation apparatus and a gas storage apparatus each using the novel polymer metal aggregate.
