PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular jelly-containing cold confectionery, of which granular jelly is unfrozen in freezing conditions so that the gummy chewiness and resilient texture of the granular jelly can be enjoyed any time due to the preserved elasticity of the granular jelly even for eating immediately after removal from a freezer or for frozen storage; and a method for maintaining elasticity of unfrozen granular jelly in freezing conditions.SOLUTION: The granular jelly-containing cold confectionery which maintains elasticity of unfrozen granular jelly in freezing conditions includes carrageenan-containing granular jelly in a cold confectionery dough which contains calcium.
