PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave chemical reaction apparatus in which a part including a reaction kettle in which there is possibility of fire and detonation can be disposed in an area delimited by a fire prevention block wall.SOLUTION: Provided is an explosion prevention specification microwave chemical reaction apparatus that includes: a reaction kettle having an irradiation window; a microwave generator that generates a microwave; and a wave guide tube that connects the microwave generator and the reaction kettle. The microwave chemical reaction apparatus is characterized in that the wave guide tube is fragmented to two or more spaces by at least one barrier, and a circumference of the utmost downstream space nearest to the reaction kettle in these spaces fragmented by the barrier is covered by an explosion prevention cover.
