PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking position notification device 31 that can give notice of a parking position accurately and simply.SOLUTION: A parking position notification device includes: a backward-movement detection unit 311 for detecting the backward-movement of a vehicle; a forward video acquisition unit 3121 for acquiring forward video which is video at prescribed time intervals based on the time when the backward-movement of the vehicle was detected and video in the forward direction of the vehicle; and a data transmission unit 313 for transmitting the forward video by short-range wireless communication. The parking position notification device may include a backward video acquisition unit 3221 for acquiring backward video which is video at the prescribed time intervals based on the time when the backward-movement of the vehicle was detected and video in the backward direction of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
