PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time needed for touch sensing.SOLUTION: A switching control circuit 20 includes a contact detection control part 21 and a stimulation control part 22. The contact detection control part 21, for example, sets an icon area displayed on a touch screen as a monitor area, monitors a current flowing to an electrode arranged in the monitor area, and detects a finger or the like of a user being brought into contact with the touch panel on the basis of a monitor result. The stimulation control part 22, for example, sets the monitor area where the contact is detected as a stimulation area, and performs stimulation processing to supply a stimulation current to an electrode arranged on the stimulation area and to stimulate the finger or the like of the user as the stimulation current flows when the finger or the like comes into contact.
