PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrinkle occurrence determination device capable of determining occurrence of a wrinkle due to instability of a sheet material in the vicinity of an entrance of nip means.SOLUTION: A wrinkle occurrence determination device (63) according to one aspect of the disclosure for determining whether or not a wrinkle occurs to a sheet material (P) conveyed by being held with nip means (42, 44) has: detection means for measuring a vertical deviation distance of left and right ends of the sheet material (P) from a predetermined position in the vicinity of an entrance of the nip means (42, 44); calculation means for calculating a difference of transient time for passing through the nip means (42, 44) between left and right ends of the sheet material (P) on the basis of the deviation distance; and determination means for determining whether or not the wrinkle occurs to the sheet material (P) on the basis of the difference of the transient time.
