PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which a defect of an unmatched appearance occurs in a plating knitted fabric by the well-known technique.;SOLUTION: There is provided a method using a flat knitting machine including at least one needle bed having a plurality of knitting needles and a plurality of sinkers, and a carriage to knit interchanged plating. The method includes the steps of: providing an indentation and a projection part at the front end of a sinker 70 in an indented manner; controlling the carriage to form a section stitching stroke including a first stitching section, a second stitching section and a delayed stitching section; feeding a first coloration yarn and a second coloration yarn at the same time; while a knitting needle is located in the second stitching section, moving the sinker at the front end of a projection part 73 in a pushing manner to continuously knit a single-side knitted fabric by standard plating; and controlling the carriage to form an interchanged stitching stroke in the movement of the knitting needle, and while the knitting needle is located in the interchanged stitching stroke, knitting the interchanged plating.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
