PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode for a nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery which is arranged so that the irreversible capacity of a negative electrode can be controlled with a stable charging potential in order to suppress the decrease in battery capacity owing to the irreversible capacity.SOLUTION: Provided are an aluminum-silicon alloy current collector used for a nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery positive electrode and a manufacturing method thereof, a nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery positive electrode having such current collector and a manufacturing method thereof, and a nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery with such positive electrode. The Al-Si alloy current collector comprises an Al-Si alloy including 0.5-13 mass% of Si, and the balance consisting of Al and inevitable impurities, and has pores defined by metal walls. Of the difference in capacity between a charged state and a discharged state in initial charge and discharge, the current collector contributes to 5 mAh/g per unit mass or more.
