PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar radiation amount prediction device capable of predicting a global solar radiation amount through a simple calculation.;SOLUTION: A solar radiation amount prediction device comprises: a climate amount acquisition section which acquires at least hourly prediction of an upper cloud cover, a middle cloud cover, a lower cloud cover and a total cloud cover and an actual measurement value of global solar radiation on a predetermined day; a cloud cover storage section which stores the hourly prediction of the upper cloud cover, the middle cloud cover, the lower cloud cover and the total cloud acquired by the climate amount acquisition section; a solar radiation amount storage section which stores the actual measurement values of the global solar radiation on the predetermined day acquired by the climate amount acquisition means; and a control section which calculates a predictive cloud cover in a manner that adds up values obtained by multiplying hourly averages of cloud cover at respective altitudes during one hour before and after a specific time of prediction by predetermined coefficients on the basis of the hourly prediction of the upper cloud cover, the middle cloud cover, the lower cloud cover and the total cloud cover acquired by the climate amount acquisition section and predicts the solar radiation amount at the specific time on the basis of the actual measurement value of the global solar radiation stored by the solar radiation amount storage section and the calculated predictive cloud cover.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
