Provided are a multidrug-resistant gram-positive bacterial antibacterial agent containing a new component not resistant to multidrug-resistant bacteria as an active ingredient, and an external preparation containing the same. The multidrug resistant Gram-positive bacteria antibacterial agent of the present invention has an HLB value of greater than 9.5 and 20 or less, and contains an amphiphilic compound having an acyl group as an active ingredient. Moreover, the external preparation of this invention contains the said multi-drug resistant gram positive microbe antibacterial agent.
