PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a metal foil-transferred object applicable to an inkjet scheme and capable of completing a curing process in one step and of obtaining a flat transfer image excellent in terms of adhesiveness and strength.SOLUTION: The method of the present invention for manufacturing a metal foil-transferred object includes: a jetting step of jetting, onto a recording target medium by using an inkjet printer, an energy ray-curable ink composition including a polymerizable compound, a polymerization initiator, and an organic solvent; a heating step of evaporating the organic solvent from the jetted energy ray-curable ink composition by heating the recording target medium with a heated platen; a laminating step of laminating a metal foil atop the recording target medium having completed the jetting step and the heating step; and a transfer step of fixing, by curing the energy ray-curable ink composition based on the irradiation thereof with energy rays from above the metal foil, the metal foil to the recording target medium via the cured resin layer.
