Provided are a niobium silicide based composite material that achieves a high level of mechanical properties and toughness in an ultra-high temperature region (1200 ° C. or higher), and a high-temperature component and high-temperature heat engine using the same. The niobium silicide based composite material according to the present invention includes Si: 13 to 23 at%, Cr: 2.0 to 10 at%, Ti: 5.0 to 23 at%, Al: 0.0 to 6.0 at%, Zr: 0.10-8.0 at%, Hf: 1.0-8.0 at%, W: 0.0-2.0 at%, Sn: 0.10-6.0 at%, Mo: 3.1-8. Including 0 at% and B: 0.20 to 5.0 at%, the balance being Nb and inevitable impurities.
