A laminated nano thin film of a metal oxide film and a polymer compound film is obtained by hydrolyzing a metal alkoxide by adding water in a metal alkoxide solution in an amount 0.01 to 6 times the molar amount of the metal in the metal alkoxide solution. 2) The hydrolyzed metal alkoxide solution is spread on the surface of a non-aqueous solvent to obtain a metal oxide gel film. A solution of a polymer compound that reacts with or adsorbs to the gel film is developed on the surface of the aqueous solvent, 4) a laminated film of the gel film and the polymer compound film is formed, and 5) on the surface of the non-aqueous solvent.
