PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a teaching method of a battery replacement robot, capable of smoothly transferring a battery between the battery placing base of a vehicle and the battery mounting part of the battery replacement robot even with a simple configuration of the battery replacement robot.SOLUTION: Provided is a teaching method of a battery replacement robot which includes a battery mounting part 22 for mounting a battery 3 at the time of pulling out the battery 3 mounted on a vehicle or inserting the battery 3 into the vehicle and a battery engagement part 24 engaged with the battery 3 at the time of pulling-out or inserting the battery 3 to move the battery 3 on the battery mounting part 22. The method teaches a vehicle mounting position when the battery 3 is mounted on the battery placing base 6 of the vehicle, a battery connecting position when the battery 3 is mounted on both teh battery placing base 6 and the battery mounting part 22, and a robot mounting position when the battery 3 is mounted on the battery mounting part 22.
