PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device retainer which has simple and low cost structure and can fix a space debris removal device to a space debris, and a space debris removal device with the device retainer.SOLUTION: A space debris removal device retainer 10 includes: an extension part 11 comprised of at least an extension spring 13; an engaging part 12 which is attached to a forward end of the extension part 11 and includes a plurality of extension springs 13 that are radially disposed; and a spring state changeover part which holds those extension springs 13 in a stored state and returns the extension parts 13 from the stored state to a projected state by releasing holding of the extension springs 13. The engaging part 12 is inserted into an opening of a PAF (Payload Attach Fitting) of a space debris by extension of the extension spring 13 of the extension part 11, and then the extension springs 13 are extended, whereby the engaging part 12 is engaged with the inside of the PAF.
