PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single crystal diamond having few crystal defects on a principal surface, a diamond composite containing the single crystal diamonds, and a production method thereof.;SOLUTION: A diamond composite is constituted of at least two or more planar single crystal diamonds, and formed by joining each single crystal diamond by a joint layer interposed between each principal surface.
