The invention relates to a box for the storage, transportation and heating of food, in particular products that are ready to eat. It should be easy to handle. The lunch box consists of the upper (1) and lower (2) portions interconnected on the longitudinal side with the possibility of tilting, and constipation is provided on the opposite longitudinal side. In the lower part (2) there is a tray with an L-shaped curved edge running around the perimeter, provided with thermal insulation and an electric heating element, with a sealing groove located along the edge of the tray.
