A crystalline form of 6- {2- [1- (6-methyl-3-pyridazinyl) -4-piperidinyl] ethoxy} -3-ethoxy-1,2-benzoxazole is proposed, which is useful in the treatment of infections caused by Picornaviridae, such as human rhinovirus (HRV), and in particular, the crystalline form is the anhydrous crystalline form of the 6- {2- [1- (6-methyl-3-pyridazinyl) -4-piperidinyl] ethoxy} -3-ethoxy-1 free base , 2-benzoxazole. In addition, a method for producing a crystalline form of the free base is also proposed, including a step of finely grinding the compound particles, optionally using a wetting agent, and also offers pharmaceutical compositions comprising a crystalline form of the free base, such as tablets or suspensions, and methods of therapy using this form and their pharmaceutical compositions.
