NUTRITIONAL HAZELNUT-BASED COMPLEMENT AND PREPARATION THEREOF FOR THE THERAPY OF THE URINARY BLADDER CANCER

Novelty: a nutritional complement designed for the therapy of the superficial urinary bladder cancer is disclosed. Administration forms: the invention comes in the form of extract, infusion and tablet according to the following preparation modes opted for by the user of the investor. Preparation modes: 1) thermal treatment of 2000mg of hazelnuts which are boiled and strained for producing an extract poured into glass vials or waterproof metal recipients which are previously subjected to a Bain Marie treatment for 15 to 20 minutes and then cooled for the preservation of the extract; 2) further thermal treatment of 50gr grated-to-powder hazelnut shells into 250ml of water facilitating the direct ingestion by patients; 3) granulation of the hazelnut shells, the granules being compressed to form tablets coated with polyvinylpyrrolidone (pvp) impeding the coating΄s hardening due to the passage of time. Advantages: the invented complement is distinguished from plant and chemical medications circulating in the market in that it comprises paclitaxel (taxol) in cis/ trans form, bound by the alpha-and beta-tubulin to an equimolar mixture; being equimolar, said mixture has two counteracting components leading to the elimination of side effects caused by the use of ordinary taxol and other microtubules-inhibiting substances.
