An imbalance voltage protection system in particular for crowbar applications for balancing the voltage among series connected semiconductor device; the electronic assembly comprising: (a) a plurality of voltage metal glaze resistors of value between 1M and 25M selected based on the rating of the crowbar; the power rating of said resistors being between 10W and 80W; (b) a multiple Polyester film capacitor of value between 10nF and 300nF selected based on the rating of the crowbar; the voltage rating of the capacitors being between 500V and 1000 V; (c) a plurality of metal film resistors of value between 0 and 20 adapted corresponding to the rating of the crowbar; the power rating of the resistors being between 2W and 40W; wherein the components (a) to (c) are mounted on a single four layer Printed Circuit Board (PCB), wherein the interconnecting traces are routed only through the inner layer, and wherein the top and bottom layer provides an isolation to the inner traces from an external media. {FIGURE 1(a) and 1(b)}
