摘要

The invention relates to reliability testing of Panel switches installed on panels of Aircrafts at IAF bases and in flight Hanger. Testing of Panel switches confirms the proper functioning of switches in turns safety of Su-30 like Aircraft. With Use of invented circuit any kind of Aircraft switches can be tested with slightly change in limit resistance and connector of the circuit. To describe the functioning of circuit RIF switch of Su-30 MKI is taken as example which is fitted in cockpit of Su-30 MKI Aircraft in RIF Power supply Panel. The invention was derived from the requirement of reliability testing of Panels switches before flight .Switches which are carrying heavy current and are frequently getting operated are vulnerable to the carbon deposition problems on the contact points. Carbon deposition increases the contact resistance thus switches may become intermediate or failed during flight in Aircraft This problem become critical when number of RIF power supply panels where received from IAF bases with suspected malfunctioning of RIF Switch. Failure of RIF switch is directly related to MFD blanking problem in Aircraft therefore it has become mandatory to check proper functioning of RIF switch before flight. In view of this a semiautomatic Tester with resistance limit circuit is developed to precisely check the contact resistance limit of switch which confirms the proper functioning of RIF switch before flight. The present invention is to test the reliability of RIF like switches before flight at ground. A Tester named as RIF switch reliability tester is made to resolve above issues and also to provide ease in testing. With the present invention this type of testers can be made for checking of various switches at IAF bases of different Aircrafts.
