INTELLIGENT COMPUTER VISION BASED WARNING SYSTEM FOR DISTRACTION AND DROWSINESS OF VEHICLE DRIVER

摘要

An alert system is activated in response to an event by positioning dual camera enabled electronic device, supported by intelligent computer vision algorithms. First camera is positioned towards road to monitor lanes, front vehicles, obstacles, pedestrians, motorcyclists, bicyclists, potholes and speed breakers to issue alert under varying light, weather and road conditions. Simultaneously second camera, positioned towards face of driver, will monitor fatigue level of driver. In an event, if the driver is distracted or feeling drowsy then audio and visual alert is activated for different light condition, for persons with different skin color, beards, spectacles, sunglasses. Following invention is described in detail with the help of Figure 4 of sheet 3 showing block diagram of interfacing systems used in technology.
