A NOVEL METHOD OF INTEGRATING KITCHEN SINK, FOOD PROCESSOR AND BIO-GAS SYSTEM FOR FOOD WASTE MANAGEMENT

ABSTRACT Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are directed towards an integrated food waste treatment system which integrates sink, food waste processor, dual line, transfer/mechanical pump and Bio-Gas system. The disclosed integrated food waste treatment system could be either flexible or movable in terms of operating nature and depending on the existing scenario and expectation of end-user. The piping layout can easily be switched from direct draining of water into main sewage line and under conditions of connecting to processing line. The food waste treatment system is enabled to work on a power supply. The invention disclosure also addresses the issue of safe and sustainable disposal of organic waste generated in household and commercial kitchen with minimum or almost nil human intervention through employment of intelligently designed system. The employment of disclosed system will result in very less effort for individual or an organization to transport, store and convert the organic waste into useful waste in the form of Bio-Gas. A method of a food waste treatment comprising collecting an organic waste from a sink to a disposer through a motorized valve, actuating the motorized valve in an open mode for a main sewage line. Crush the organic waste by the actuation of the disposer, transferring the crushed organic waste to a bio-gas tank through a transfer pump and a waste processing line. Producing a bio-gas in the bio-gas tank by the collection of crushed organic waste.
