The present invention relates to an all steel card clothing for a carding machine for processing textile fibres having a saw tooth wire (10) with teeth (12) that are formed in succession in the wire running direction (11) wherein the tooth contour of the teeth (12) starting from a tooth root (13) is intended to at least transition into a tooth back (14) to transition further into a tooth tip section (15) to transition further into a tooth face (16) and to transition again into a following tooth root (13) and wherein the tooth tip section (15) is formed with a tooth tip length (L) determined in the wire running direction (11). Provision is made according to the invention for a tooth cusp (17) to be formed on the tooth tip section (15) wherein the tooth cusp (17) has a tooth cusp length (I) which is less than the tooth tip length (L).
