PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a sawtooth wire having a strict and uniform tooth part geometrical shape.;SOLUTION: There is provided a sawtooth wire for forming a sawtooth-like whole-steel card clothing for a roller or a carding element of a spinning machine such as a flat card, a roller card, a cleaner and an opener, and having a long base part region (a leg part) and a neighboring tooth part region (a blade) of which tooth parts are formed by cutting, in which the tooth parts each have a tooth part front face, a tooth part back face, and two side faces, and a blade groove exists between the tooth part back face and the tooth part front face of the two tooth parts sequentially arranged. In order to form the sawtooth wire having the tooth parts having a specially strict and uniform tooth part geometrical shape, the tooth parts of the sawtooth wire are formed by processing using a laser device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
