USEFUL DEVICE FOR PATIENT TRANSFER AS WELL AS IN THE REHABILITATION OF BEDRIDDEN PATIENTS.

The present disclosure is related to a useful device for patient transfer and movilization of bedridden patients; comprising: A first support or moldable member, configured to support most of the patient's weight; a second support or mesh element disposed adjacently and below the first support, in such a way that said first support presses together within the second support forming a single body; wherein said second support is configured and based on the human anatomy to take the shape of the spinal cord and those parts of the patient's body which are in contact with said device, as well as to support the body parts that require greater support when the patient is mobilized; a canopy, completely covering the upper and peripheral faces of the assembly formed by the first and second supports, in such a way that said canopy is fixedly attached to the second support through first fastening means; and, a third support or expandable element, located adjacently below the second support being fixed to the same by means of a third fastening device. Said third support has the function of facilitating the patient transfer and/or mobilization on the axial axis in a more secure manner, both for the patient and for the caregiver, as the invention distributes the point loads that the patient generates on the device when lying down, allowing the caregiver to slide the device easily and safely on the surface where both, the patient and the device, are located decreasing the burden of the patient's body weight equally distributing the same on the lower surface of the third support or expandable member.
