FORMULATION OF A REMOVER TO ELIMINATE PAINT IN GLASS ARTICLES.

The present invention relates to a formulation of a remover for eliminating the paint on glass articles which do not fulfill the painted quality control thus causing the repainting. The types of paint for elimination by said remover includes the glossy translucent, glossy cover, matte, and metalized front. Currently, the glass pieces are paint stripped by a burning in an oven at 600°C for then submersion them in a 5% dilute acid stripper thus acquiring a final manual cutting. After the manual cutting, the pieces get ready for repainting. The remover of the present invention possesses the characteristics of being non-flammable with low-toxicity and of non-environmental harmful compared to other removers. The time, cost, and labor employed to paint stripping the pieces of glass with this acid remover is higher compared to the present one. Also, said remover is capable of removing the paint from the pieces of glass without subjecting them to re-burning in the furnace at 600°C. Moreover, the development of this remover runs to remove the paint applied to the crystals by any of the different types of paint used in glass articles decoration and which acquire the necessity of paint stripping to correct any defect.
