A system for the collection, cleaning and draining rainwater, comprising -a body of water-permeable filter material, -two or more water pipes incorporated into the body, wherein at least one first water conduit has a conduit wall which is provided from the interior of the first water pipe to the outside Post operative first water passage openings and at least one second water conduit has a conduit wall which is provided from the exterior of the second water supply to the interior thereof of active second water passage openings; wherein the first and the second water conduit extend over a certain length along each other, wherein the walls of both located water pipes at a distance from each other under the keeping free an intermediate space, said intermediate space is filled with particulate built up of filter material which is incorporated into the body wherein the first water pipe, at least one input for the access of rainwater to the interior of the first water pipe, wherein the first water pipe between the source of the collected rainwater and the second water pipe is located, where the second water pipe at a first end is in communication with a water outlet for discharge of water from the second discharge line.
