A system for generating a region of target stimulation, the system comprising: a computer processor configured to: identify neural elements were activated in a predetermined threshold number of a plurality of stimulations electrodes made in at least one patient, wherein identification is based on (a) a respective axonal model generated for each of the at least one patient and (b) for each of the plurality of stimulation electrodes, a respective model generated stimulation of these axons axonal pattern, patient where stimulation, which were activated by the respective electrode stimulation is performed; and outputting neural elements identified as a target stimulation region to produce the clinical effect.
