A procedure implemented by computer to execute a database query in a database, the procedure comprising the steps of: - providing at least one data structure, defined by a database scheme of said database , which comprises at least one object that has at least two properties, each property having an assigned data type, in which said data types can be compared with respect to their data size; - establishing (401), using said database schema of said database, by comparison, of said data types of the at least two properties, a property of a selected data structure comprising the smallest unique values for given records of type of data stored in that particular property; - execute (402) the database query, which includes any limitation parameter, configured to receive only data from the property comprising the smallest unique values that are recoverable for a record; - start (403) to retrieve results from the retrieved query (402); - for each set of predefined number of retrieved results, execute (405) a new database access process that is configured to retrieve data that is present in the records identified with the smallest unique values.
