A computer implemented method for executing a database query, the method comprising the steps of: establishing, which property of a data structure comprises the smallest unique values for given records; executing a query, including any limiting parameters, which shall retrieve only data from the property comprising the smallest unique value that is retrievable for a record; starting results retrieval of the executed query; for each predefined number of retrieved results executing a new database access thread that is configured to retrieve data that are present in the records identified with the smallest unique values.
