EARLY WARNING METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FAILURE IN CONVERTER VALVE

Disclosed is an early warning method for a failure in a converter valve,comprising: withina predetermined time range, recording time information of status indicationsignals ted backby thyristor control units (TCU) of a converter valve, performing statisticsand comparison ofthe pieces of time information using a bias statistics method, marking athyristor level whosebias exceeds a preset value, and determining a probability of failure in thethyristor accordingto the marking result. Also disclosed is an early warning system for a failurein a convertervalve, comprising a register array used to store bias data of thyristor levelsof a convertervalve and a high-speed processor used to process, using a bias statisticsmethod, statusindication signals fed back by TCUs. Accordingly, a thyristor level with arelatively highprobability of failure may be identified, achieving early warning, andproviding a reference fordevice replacement.
