A tailings recovery technology, comprising: feed ore pulp into a concentration barrel of a concentrating machine; drive the concentration barrel to rotate around its own central axis while the ore pulp flows so as to enable the ore pulp to be continuously stirred and turn over in an inner cavity of the concentration barrel; apply a magnetic field to the ore pulp by means of a magnetic field generation device; accurately sort the ore pulp by means of a classifier so as to enable selected minerals in the ore pulp to be under the action of the magnetic field in processes of rising and dropping, thus attaching to an inner wall of the concentration barrel and moving upwards until reaching a blanking area; the selected minerals fall into a material receiving trough of the concentrating machine in the blanking area; and except the selected minerals, other materials in the ore pulp enter a tailings trough of the concentrating machine from the bottom of the inner cavity of the concentration barrel and then enter a tailings conveying system.
